So you have taken the plunge and decided to upgrade to Windows 10. After all it was free, what could possibly be bad about that ? Well did you know that by virtue of accepting the install, you have allowed Windows 10 to monitor your every keystroke and mouse click.
If you where apart of the technical review you may have known that this was infact happening but it has also rolled over to the public release too, millions of people are unaware this feature is running, so let’s talk about turning it off.
- Click Start
- Open Settings
- Click Privacy
- In the Privacy menu, click General
- Look for “Send Microsoft info about how I write to help us improve typing and writing in the future” then turn the switch to off.
- Click Speech, inking & typing
- Click “Stop getting to know me”
